Awesome right there. Didn't know there were alot of people who's birthdays are today.
This morning, said goodbye to Abah cause he was going to Johor and will be coming back on Sunday and then went to school. When I got to our class, no one was there except the runners. NO ONE!
An hour later we were all warmed-up, all "dressed-up", and all ready to get the race started. Yeap guys (people who're not in Cempaka anymore)! It was really true. The plan of making Cempakans jog from Cempaka Damansara till Cempaka Cheras did happened. Amazing huh?
There were only a few people who have had actually attempted doing it just now. And only 2 people did it, Dr. Rizal and En. Ali. Those other people like Yew Eng, Khal and Shazwan were considered as if they too have done the whole leg but they started after 2 or 3 checkpoints, which were not that far away from school.
My group, Athira, Shez, Shareen, Triplets, Kabileish, Ronald, Timothy, Ghazali, and Jes started at check point 4, about a kilometre away from Midvalley City up until a few metres away from the first toll towards Cheras. It sounds far, 2.5 km, not really. Some of us wanted to run more but couldn't because there were not enough space on the second bus. Oh wells.
We were sent to Cheras and we lepaked there for at least 2 hours. Towards the end, we were brought to this RANDOM place 700 metres away from Cheras Campus and ALL the runners combined together and jogged towards North Hall.
It was very cool, and I would really want to do it soon, and not wait for another 25 years. There was an ambulance, plenty of policemen, cars filled with photographers and LOTS of cars and people who had watched this bizzare event.
Olympics is happening soon so Adios!
